Conrad Goeringer
Ironman Certified Coach based out of Nashville, TN
Conrad Goeringer is an Ironman certified coach based out of Nashville, TN. He is the founder of Working Triathlete, author of the book The Working Triathlete and the co-author of Triathlon Freestyle Simplified. He has written dozens of articles for triathlon and mainstream media publications and has been featured on various notable podcasts. He has coached hundreds of athletes all over the world to triathlon success, including multiple overall national champions, dozens of world championship qualifiers, elite professional triathletes, and pure beginners.
“As a passionate triathlete and professional, I've always been interested in people who achieve in athletics, business, or otherwise. One common trait that successful people have is their ability to accomplish more in less time. Yes, you can get there with brute force, but the best way to excel in any given field is via focused practice and execution. The same concept can be applied to triathlon.
Working Triathlete is a source for those who want to leverage their time to achieve maximum gains—no matter how busy (or not busy) they are. We work with some of the fastest athletes in the world who have the luxury of putting in 30 hour training weeks. But we also know that most athletes have other obligations, like a family or career—and may only be able to accomplish 6-12 hours of training per week comfortably. Fortunately, with a well-structured training plan and specific knowledge, you can achieve your potential (or very close to it) in the time you have available to train. This doesn't mean that you can become a pro on 10 hours per week or that you don't have to work at getting faster--but you can and should assimilate training techniques and principles that allow you to achieve superior fitness gains in less time--and you should take advantage of principles of efficiency that allow you to achieve more with less effort.
So take a look around the website and feel free to drop me a line with questions or comments. I hope that Working Triathlete inspires you to set new goals, find balance and, most of all, kill it on the course.”
